because my brother complained to my mum that i kept using the laptop and it's luring him to use it, causing him to not concentrate for his upcoming exams, i decided to stop on-ing my laptop too. maybe only on it when i need to refer to my student portal/webcasts, and that is only AFTER i finished mugging for everything eh. yeah i know the reason he gave was super childish, but true la, i get distracted at times too, even though i just left it on while doing my work.
so for our benefits, i shall declare a BLOG HIATUS from now on, till 13th may, the last exam day for both of us! sorry faithful readers and stalkers, nothing to entertain you for one month. but hey, if you're preparing for exams and you're reading this, SHOOOOOOOOOOO! go back to your mugging spree man!
last but not least, let me leave a "saying" from what i've heard from my uol econs lecturer today:
if your graduation certificate indicates just a pass, it is telling your employer to stay away from this person! however if it indicates a first class/upper second honours, it's saying "CHOOSE ME! or you'll regret!"

i have always like watching marching bands, especially when the drum major throws his mace like super high, and best is still can catch it, like damn pro and handsome la! HAHAHA! so this year (yest)'s secondary school's marching and display band's syf. i rmbr watching the syf LIVE two years ago, and now i'm watching it online. but still, i thought it was quite interesting, so decided to share some here(:
deyi secondary school, this year's best display band, best drum major and gwh band.
tanjong katong secondary school, my ex school's neighbour school HAHA! i still rmbr last time when i was still in tkgs, i used to like watching them march over the fence and being amazed by it. they always give wonderful moves, this year too. a pity they got gold only, but hey, the dm never dropped the mace la. prooo! and they sang tegami!!! suddenly rmbred sy's "kipamerlipeh" HAHAHAHA!
and of course my bro's school, maris stella high school. i think i can spot him in the video la! LOL! but anyway, it's their first try this year, and they managed to get distinction, not bad alr la. and them dancing to nobody and sorry sorry, so cute. hahaha.
okay enough of marching band videos spamming.
time to hit the books again(:

obviously, i didnt survive the 8.30-10pm in school day.
haha dozed off during the pbf lesson that i crashed during my 3hr break, as well as a teeny weeny part during the uol pbf revision class.
guess my max attention span in school is like 6hrs the most?
so note to self: please choose no more than two classes for second year. best still, one per day. haha i rather travel here and there, than to doze off and miss impt stuffs(:
and oh the horror, to think that i have another 8.30-10pm school day next thurs.
this time round it's worst, cuz i only have breaks during the transition of classes.
may i survive then! :D
for now, tick tock tick tock, time is running out.
the days to the start of exams are getting fewer and fewer, which is scaring me.
because honestly speaking, i am not prepared at all. i havent really attempt the past year papers!
and it's scary that i am treating this quite seriously.
okay, not that i didnt treat it seriously for Os and As, but the level of seriousness is slightly more this time round.

i had a good dream, before i went to school today.
a sweet little confession in the dream, my side was true, not sure about yours.
despite being rather awake alr, i've been trying hard to get back into the dream, but failed. afterall it's just a dream.
and the dream made me realise many things:
how much i've missed you,
how clear i could rmbr of our last random lunch meeting at hk cafe,
how much i've treasured this friendship over the past few years!
i hope i will gain some courage to say something to you someday,
but for now, i only can say this in my blog,
i never know when you'll chance upon this, but anyway all i have to say for now is:
i miss you friend! ♥
that aside,
time seemed to be passing super fast for today's econs class.
maybe it's because i am so used to the 6hrs lecture alr, so 3hrs is like nothing to me, hahaha!
and i am so not looking forward to tmr.
8.30-10pm in school leh! O-M-G!
okay i shouldnt complain yet, cuz at least i still have 3hrs plus break in between, not like next thurs, lessons all the way from 8.30-10pm, the only break is break in between the different classes. sigh.
and tmr marks the '30 days left to exams' day! gosh.
but for now, may i survive tmr man! (:

100...50...40...and now, it's only left with 32 days to the start of my exams!
you know, the naive me always thought that it should be easy to get all As or maybe all As and 1B, since it's only the first year.
but my prelim results prove me wrong, and i'm starting to panic! not much time left, how how how?!
and well, i really really want to score in all the subjects for the first year, since it's the easiest year to score, as quoted by the seniors.
so i've decided the following rules set by myself:
1) no using of laptop unnecessarily! only use it for checking emails/student portal!
2) no more distractions! no more youtube, no more fb/blog hopping. NO NO NO!
3) study, study and study till it's exams!
i really hope this time round will not be a flop like psle, Os, and even As.

good friday today, but it seemed like a post april fool's day to me! early in the morning already kena "prank".
went to my usual bus stop, knew today was good friday, a public holiday. but i totally forgot that 151e bus does not operate on public holidays!!! so i was happily waiting for an "imaginary" 151e, i even deliberately missed a 151 la. i only realised the truth when my usual 151e bus didnt come during that period. somemore suay suay there werent any bus directories at my bus stop, so i couldnt check. at that point of time i was like "okay shit, i should have boarded the 151". and because it's a public holiday, the buses' frequencies were like super long too. i only boarded the bus at like 745, when my class was at 830? thought i would be freaking late, but well, because it's a public holiday again, there werent many vehicles on the road, so the bus was practically zooming at the speed of light, HAHAHA. and i reached school ON THE DOT.
not only that, because it's a public holiday again, many kiosks and the main canteen at my school were closed. the only surviving ones were like two kiosks and megabites. and yeah, chiong-ed to megabites during lunch break, and this was the first time i see a crowd at megabites okay. and it really looked as if it's experiencing a food rationing process. cards were given out, the queue at western stall was so long that it reached the exit door, rice/noodles packed food were given out. the scene was hilarious man, and to think that i will experience it again next sunday hahaha.
so tell me, how can i not remember my good friday 2010, with these two incidents?! (:
on a side note, i should really chiong studying already. there isnt enough time to finish studying/practising everything if i cont my daily lifestyle like this. and after attending stats2 revision class today, i realised i dunno alot of things! and i must start adapting to the uk lecturer's presenting styles, cuz i realised when i used my own methods, my marks were penalised, and i cant afford that in my may exams.
so i thought, maybe i should go on:
1) msn hiatus
2) facebook hiatus
best still... 3) laptop hiatus!!!
okay, 3 is quite hard to achieve, but well, i shall TRY not to use the laptop unnecessarily. maybe once a while or sth? hahaha. after my dinner and show, i shall chiong~ go charmaine go whoots whoots! :D

today is back-to-school day. it's been a loooooonnnnggggg time since i went to school. excited? i actually managed to board the second 151e bus, and reached school at like 8.10am?! freaking early la. chopped good seats, took back stats1 paper, survived the 6hrs long stats uol revision class. i didnt fall asleep at all, and i felt that i learnt something through it. big big achievement! and then, a drama happened during lunch break. went to makan place to have lunch with andre. after that we went back to school to photocopy the question papers for him.
went to the photocopying room, put in my cashcard worth $67++, photocopied our papers, stapled our papers, and happily left the room. and guess what. I FORGOT TO TAKE OUT MY CASHCARD FROM THE PHOTOCOPYING MACHINE!!! and i didnt realise it, still happily walk to the next room to collect my stats2 paper, went back to the lt, put down my stuffs, checked my wallet, and that's only when i found out.
"eh did you return me my cashcard?"
both of us looked at each other, and i swear, immediately after that, andre ran off in the speed of light, all the way to the library. i gave up running halfway, cuz he's super duper fast for me. HAHAHAHA. but anyway yeah, i managed to get back my cashcard from the counter, who was like interrogating me to see if i was the rightful owner. lol. omg la, can you imagine if i lost my cashcard, i think firstly, my mum will slaughter me, and secondly, $67++ worth of money inside leh, who wont xin tong you tell me!
but anyway that's not all. when i got back my stats papers, it's like a drama to me too! i got 62 for my stats1 paper, and then when i collected my stats2 paper, i was like practically laughing at it.
I GOT A FREAKING PATHETIC 5 OUT OF 100!!!
omg la, yeah alot of ppl asked me why that great difference even though both are still stats paper, but i dont know why either. i will only know when i attend the revision lecture on friday. HAHAHA joke la. i mean i knew i was going to flunk it after i did that paper, but i didnt expect myself to get a single digit you know, hahahaha oh wells, at least it's not the main paper! time to work harder!
other than those two incidents, today is quite a happy day! :D guess what, my previous company, crestar, called me and asked if i was able to work as some officer in charge for their ballet exams next week. but sadly i cant because i have revision classes going on! so i kindly declined it, and guess what! they actually asked when i'm free, i told them i will be free after my may exams, and then they said okay! and asked me to get back to them again after my exams! OMG, i am going to be employed again after my exams! yayyy! kachingggggggg! :D :D :D
oh yeah, and did i mention that pua siying said she maybe/most prob going to invigilate me during one of my uol exams?! it's part of her canvassing, but that's not the point. the point is, OMG HOW CAN IT BE THAT QIAO! make me excited only lo. HAHAHAHA!
okay right now, it's 100% concentration pia-ing for may exams! i must pass with flying colours this time round, and not fail like getting a single digit!!! chiong ah charmaine! :D
